Mistake đi với make, không đi với do.

Cụm cố định là do a favor (giúp một việc).

Quyết định là make a decision.
Sai:She made her homework every night.
Đúng:She did her homework every night.

Tập thể dục là do exercise.

Cụm do a good job có nghĩa là làm việc tốt.

Đúng:I will do the dishes after dinner.
Rửa bát là do the dishes.
Sai:Please make your best in the test.
Đúng:Please do your best in the test.
Cụm cố định là do your best (cố gắng hết sức).
Sai:Can you do a phone call for me?
Đúng:Can you make a phone call for me?
Gọi điện thoại là make a phone call.
